This is a dynamic leadership role where no two days are the same, and you'll make a real impact on island life.This roleis based on the Bay Islands and is ideal for local residents or those who enjoy the unique lifestyle of working by the water.
This is a progression-based position, with opportunities to advance from Level 6C to 7C as you develop your leadership skills and technical expertise.Your responsibilities will include:Leading a small team to deliver high-quality maintenance works safely and efficientlyCoordinating daily operations, allocating tasks, and overseeing contractor activitiesPromoting a positive and productive team culture built on teamwork and cooperationEnsuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and Council standardsProviding technical advice and support across civil, marine, parks, and open space assetsEngaging with customers and stakeholders to deliver excellent service outcomesManaging records, schedules, and maintenance plans for labour, plant, and materialsContributing to continuous improvement through innovative work practicesSkills and experience:Proven experience delivering civil or open space maintenance services to a high standardDemonstrated leadership and people management skills,
