Trades Assistant and General hand PremisesMoorooka QLD, AustraliaPosted Sunday 6 September **** at 2:00 pmWe are looking for a practical, hands-onTrades Assistant & Facilities Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep, safety and presentation of our Brisbane site.This varied role will involve grounds maintenance, minor building repairs, site upkeep and general facilities support.About the roleYour responsibilities will include:Mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and general garden maintenanceMaintaining pathways, fencing, signage and outdoor areasCompleting minor building maintenance, painting and repairsOperating grounds maintenance equipment, power tools and hand toolsConducting basic site inspections and reporting maintenance issuesSupporting preventative maintenance and contractors on siteOperating a forklift to move materials and equipmentKeeping the site secure,



clean and well presentedAbout youYou will have:Current Queensland LF Forklift LicenceCurrent driver's licenceExperience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, property maintenance or a similar roleBasic handyperson and building maintenance skillsExperience using mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers and power toolsGood physical fitness for manual and outdoor workA strong commitment to safetyA reliable, proactive and practical approachExperience in an industrial or manufacturing environment would be highly regarded, along with a First Aid Certificate or EWP licence.If you enjoy practical work, variety and taking pride in keeping a site safe and well maintained, we'd love to hear from you.
