Toowong Village

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented high school student to join our salon as a casual Junior Salon Assistant.

This role is ideal for a student looking for their first casual job and an prospect to gain work experience in a qualified hair salon. No previous salon experience is required — full training will be provided.

Duties include

Keeping the salon clean, tidy and organised

Sweeping and mopping floors

General cleaning and tidying

Preparing and organising salon equipment

Refilling the steamer with water

Assisting with straightforward salon tasks

Completing closing duties using a checklist

We’re looking for someone who is punctual, reliable, responsible and especially attentive to detail,



and who can follow a checklist and complete tasks properly without needing constant supervision.

Availability

After-school hours

Saturdays

Approximately 3–4 hours per shift

Junior rates apply in accordance with the Hair and Beauty Industry Award.
