If you're ready to make an impact, grow your career, and have some fun along the way, this is your moment to take the lead.LIFE IN THE ROLEReporting to the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse Manager, this permanent full-time role is responsible for maintaining the course proper, training tracks, and grounds at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, ensuring they are always presented in the best possible condition.
This position plays a vital role in the success of our carnival race days and in creating a memorable experience for all who attend.Key accountabilities of the role include:Undertake general maintenance work including labouring, cleaning, tracks, gardens and maintenance instructionsOperate plant equipment such as tractors, mowers, front end loader forklift, power sweepers, power harrows, brush cutters, hedgers, push mowers and general spray operationsConduct routine maintenance of turf, synthetic, artificial and other surfacesWorking hours on non-race days:
8:30 – 5:00pmRace day vs non-race day roster.
