In this role, you'll be involved in the full project lifecycle, from site investigations to geotechnical analysis and reporting.You'll work on projects that include tailings storage facilities, mine site geotechnics, earthworks, and slope stability, developing both technical and consulting skills.
You'll also have opportunities to engage directly with clients and stakeholders, gaining experience in project management and technical delivery.This full‐time role provides exposure to both fieldwork and office‐based assessments, working closely with senior geotechnical engineers on projects throughout Western Australia and beyond.
You'll be part of a strong national geotechnical team while working within a supportive and growing Perth office.About YouWe're looking for someone eager to apply technical knowledge in a consulting environment, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.You'll bring:A degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical EngineeringA minimum of 12 months experience with tailings storage facilitiesAn understanding of soil and rock logging, in situ testing, and monitoring instrumentsExposure to mine site geotechnics, earthworks, and slope stabilizationA willingness to travel to mine sites and remote project locationsAn interest in developing management, business development, and analytical skillsThis is an opportunity to grow your career in mining and geotechnical engineering, gain diverse experience, and work alongside industry leaders.
