Walsh Mining and Civil are looking for a reliable and experienced multiskilled operator who can confidently switch between dozer and excavator duties, work accurately using GPS and maintain a high standard of safety and productivity.

Key Duties
Safely and efficiently operate both dozers and excavators
Use GPS/machine control systems to work accurately to design levels and specifications
Carry out bulk earthworks, trimming, grading, pushing and shaping material
Complete bulk and detailed excavation, trenching, battering and loading activities
Read and interpret site plans, levels and GPS designs
Complete daily pre-start inspections and report faults or maintenance requirements
Work safely around other mobile plant, personnel and site infrastructure
Comply with all site and company safety procedures, including Take 5s, JHAs and SWMS
Maintain machinery in a clean,



secure and serviceable condition
Work closely with supervisors, surveyors and other operators to meet project requirements

Essential Requirements
Proven experience operating both dozers and excavators and Experience with Trimble, Topcon, Leica or similar GPS systems
Current Australian Driver’s Licence
White Card
Relevant plant operating competencies/tickets
Current clean National Police Clearance
Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Available for an immediate start

Immediate start | 2:1 roster | Up north | 5 x positions available Pay: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
