We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Machine Operator to join our team at our Milperra branch. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the steel industry.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who can work well in a busy, quick paced environment and is willing to learn current skills.

What We Are Looking For
A strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and develop current skills
The ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good attention to detail
Commitment to workplace safety
Forklift Licence (advantageous but not essential)
Previous experience operating Beamline machinery (highly desirable)
Experience with overhead cranes and steel products (advantageous but not essential)

Responsibilities include:
Warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes and forklifts
Operating and assisting with steel processing machinery, including Beamline equipment




Preparing and inspecting products to ensure production requirements and quality standards are met
Bundling and preparing steel loads for dispatch
Performing routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
Maintaining a protected and organised work environment at all times
