Medical Officer / Clinical Research Physician
Brisbane | Early Phase Clinical Research A leading clinical research organisation is seeking a Medical Officer to support the delivery of Phase I clinical trials involving healthy volunteers and patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator across clinical studies.
Conduct informed consent discussions, medical assessments, and participant eligibility reviews.
Provide medical oversight, safety monitoring, and adverse event management.
Perform protocol-specific clinical procedures and study-related medical activities.
Collaborate with Operations, QA, Project Management, Recruitment and Pharmacy teams to ensure successful study delivery.
Contribute to protocol reviews, audits, SOP development, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
Medical Degree with unrestricted AHPRA registration (minimum 2 years).
Solid clinical assessment and patient management skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced, high-volume clinical environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Current GCP training preferred.
Early phase clinical trial experience, cannulation skills, and ALS certification advantageous.
