Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Career AreaProduct SupportJob PurposeYou will be responsible for implementing our MineStar underground product suite (Command for underground and Fleet/Detect for Underground) at new customer sites including upgrades to existing MineStar customers.
Implement system configuration and solutions to meet commercial contracts and mining business needs.
You will support the dealer and customer during the installation and configuration of the software, debugging, testing, and integration of other systems to MineStar projects.Job Duties Include By Not Limited ToInstall and configure the complete underground MineStar system to meet commercial contract and site specific needsSupport the implementation of system modules to specification and configure modules based on requirements gathered from customer's business analysisPlanning and execution of integrated testing and customer acceptance testingAbility to problem solve through technical investigation and resolution, including responding to customer questionsProvide implementation technical training to end users and system administratorsPerform implementation and integration tasks for internal and external customersAssist with documentation,



training and functional specificationsFollow project management process and implementation assignmentsProvide basic training on our standard implementation processes and usage of MineStar systemsKey skills you will haveCustomer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognising, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients,



vendors, and peers.Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.Field Support: Knowledge of and experience with providing post-sales support; ability to support maintenance of software & hardware products.Top Candidates will also haveTechnical Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant experience in a related IT/technical/engineering roleExtensive hands on experience with technical software system implementation, preferably in a mining environmentExtensive hands on experience with IT system architectures, enterprise computing infrastructure and cybersecurityHands on experience with (mining) heavy vehicle onboard technology system installation, configuration and commissioningExperience in Fleet Management implementations is highly desirableExperience in Underground mining is highly desirableThe ability to develop relationships through excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to undertake up to 25% domestic and international travelAdditional InformationThis position requires the candidate to work full time in the Caterpillar Perth office.
