To find out more visit our website at the roleWe are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our NSW Finance team and provide management accounting and administrative support to the Commercial Manager.
This role will support accurate financial reporting, effective cost management and the achievement of profitability targets across the business.
You will work closely with operational leaders and Finance stakeholders, providing meaningful analysis and practical financial insights to support informed decision-making.
You will be part of a collaborative and committed team, where your attention to detail, commercial awareness and ability to build solid stakeholder relationships will be highly valued.Duties include but are not limited to:Preparing month-end revenue, wage, subcontractor and other cost accrualsPreparing accurate monthly, periodic and ad-hoc financial reportsCompleting profit and loss analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and financial commentaryAnalysing labour costs,



revenue and financial variances to support informed business decisionsPreparing client costings and reviewing costings completed by operational managersProviding financial and administrative support to the Commercial Manager, Finance team and operational stakeholdersSkills & experienceA minimum of three years' relevant accounting experience within a corporate environmentCPA, CA or CIMA qualification, or currently working towards completionSound knowledge of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, general ledgers and corporate reportingDemonstrated experience in management accounting, cost accounting and financial analysisAdvanced Excel skills and strong competency using accounting and financial reporting systemsStrong analytical, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with key stakeholdersMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
