The Chance:

Our client is a West Australian owned business that operates across commercial construction projects throughout Australia. From concept & design, through to construction, completion and handover to their clients.

We are seeking a Safety Advisor who comes from a construction background, ideally within commercial buildings such as warehouses, storage facilities, workshops and distribution centres.

You must be either and Australia Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position, we are not offering sponsorship!

The position:

The Safety Advisor will work across multiple commercial building projects throughout Western Australia from Perth Metro to remote towns and mines across the state. Delivering safety protocols, auditing, managing incidents, taking part in toolbox talks and overseeing safety training for all staff both residential and on remote sites.

The Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications HSE essential, and Cert IV Training and Assessing would be highly advantageous along with environmental experience
Able to work across multiple projects, and comfortable working from the offices in Perth and travelling to construction sites as and when required
Oversee all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) aspects at project locations,



including coordination of HSE reporting to key stakeholders
Support the construction teams and senior leadership with critical risk assessments, control and mitigate project risks
Previous exposure to commercial building projects such as warehouses, distribution centres and large-scale workshops
Play a crucial role in incident investigations by gathering evidence, recording statements, establishing timelines, and compiling other pertinent information
Create a high standard and culture of safety across the business, by leading from the front and supporting the line managers to delivery safety protocols
