We're looking for someone who loves being on the floor with children, leads by example and can bring out the best in the educators around them.About the roleAs a Room Leader you lead the day to day running of your room.
You set the standard for educational practice, guide your team, build strong relationships with families, and make sure your room is safe, well organised and ready for anything, including Assessment and Rating.What you will doLead the planning, delivery and evaluation of educational programs guided by the Learning for Life Curriculum, the Early Years Learning Framework and children's interestsMonitor and support the quality of observations, documentation and planning across your roomChampion child safety, maintain robust knowledge of child protection and mandatory reporting obligations, and respond appropriately to any concernEnsure room practice complies with the Education and Care Services National Law, the National Regulations, the National Quality Standard and Thrive policiesSupport the Thrive Quality Framework and your centre's Quality Improvement Plan, and keep the room ready for Assessment and RatingCoach and support educators, trainees and students, and help new team members settle inKeep families informed and respond to feedback professionallyMake sure observations,



documentation and compliance records are accurate and on timeWhat you will bringCertificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, ACECQA approvedCurrent Working with Children Check for the state the role is based inCurrent First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualificationsStrong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Framework and the regulationsKnowledge of child protection and safeguarding requirementsDemonstrated ability to lead and mentor team membersNice to havePrevious experience in a Room Leader or senior educator roleAbout ThriveThrive Early Learning Centres operate across New South Wales and Victoria.
