Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team, servicing the Gladstone region and reporting to our Gladstone Branch.What will you be doing?
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our customers' equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Your day will involve travelling to customer sites throughout the Tamworth and surrounding regional areas to:Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on material handling equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faultsAttend breakdowns and respond to customer service requirementsComplete preventative maintenance and safety inspectionsMaintain accurate service records and job documentationBuild strong relationships with customers and provide professional technical supportWork closely with the Newcastle Branch and our wider service networkManage your daily schedule while working autonomously in the fieldWhy join TMHA ?

We're looking for a technician who is practical, customer-focused and enjoys solving problems.You'll ideally have:A relevant mechanical trade qualification – Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, Automotive or equivalentExperience working on mobile plant, forklifts, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery or similar equipmentStrong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skillsThe ability to work independently and manage your own workloadGood communication and customer service skillsA current driver's licenceA strong commitment to safety and qualityForklift experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
