This is a fantastic opportunity foran engineering professional with a passion for infrastructure and communityservice to contribute technical expertise and lead projects that ensure thesafe, reliable delivery of essential utilities.About the RoleReporting to the Reticulation Networks Manager, you willprovide engineering support to the Community Utilities Operations team by:Providingengineering support and technical advice for the maintenance, renewal, andcompliance of water and sewer reticulation assets.Preparingoperational and safety procedures, including shutdown protocols, riskassessments, and construction documentation.Managinglicensing, regulatory reporting, and environmental impact controls in linewith relevant legislation.Leadingplanning, design, relevant approval applications, delivery, andcapitalisation of Utilities Operations projects following PMHC's ProjectManagement Framework.Collaboratingwith Planning, Design, and Project Delivery teams to review designs andanalyse operational data.Leadingprocurement activities for works and services supporting treatment plantsand headworks assets.Identifyingand implementing process optimisations and innovations to improve systemperformance.Promotingsafe work practices through inspections, inductions,



and risk managementinitiatives.Providingoperational support across Community Utilities areas and participating inthe after-hours on-call roster.About YouTo be successful in this position:ABachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Demonstratedexperience in the water supply and wastewater industry, ideally within anoperational environment.Provenskills in project planning, management, and delivery.Experiencein process optimisation and troubleshooting within water and seweroperations.Well-developedverbal and written communication skills, including report writing.Advancedcomputer skills, particularly with spreadsheets, databases, and SCADAsystems.Acollaborative approach, strong commitment to safety and compliance, andmotivation to enhance community infrastructure through innovation andtechnical excellence.Remuneration and BenefitsEmployment type: Permanent, full-time role (35 hours perweek plus flex time)Salary: Starting from $101,****** to $113,****** per yeardepending on skills and experience plus 12% super and allowancesThis role also qualifies for a leaseback vehicle orallowanceFortnightly RDOPPE and uniform providedDiscounted gym membership through membership to Fitness PassportCareer development opportunities OR Opportunities for learning and development and internal career progressionAnnual salary increase as per the Local Government (State)
