About the role

This is a hands-on position. You will work closely with the Venue Manager along with the Assistant Manager, and an extended full time team to assist in daily operations, working with a large front-of-house team, and ensure every guest has an exceptional experience, even during peak rushes. You will be trained in supervising and in due course be required to supervise and close a minimum of one shift per week.

Key responsibilities
Assist floor and bar operations during high-volume lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts
Lead, supervise (once trained), and motivate a casual team of bar staff and waitstaff
Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation (once trained)
Maintain strict compliance with RSA guidelines, food safety standards, and OH&S; regulations
Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally
Assist with stock control and cellar protocol

About you
Minimum 1 years of experience within a high-volume pub, bar, or hospitality venue preferred
Valid Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate




Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under intense pressure
Availability to work a rotating roster including late nights, weekends, and public holidays
A passion for hospitality and a positive, team and customer-first attitude
Someone who wants a long-term position
