The JBS Beef City Feedlot is looking for a Feed Mill Operator to join the team.
In this hands‐on role, you'll help ensure grain is processed safely, efficiently and to the required standard to support the feeding program and livestock performance.Day‐to‐day, you'll carry out pre‐start checks on machinery, operate and monitor grain processing equipment, keep track of inventory levels, monitor water quality and work closely with other Feed Mill Operators to ensure smooth shift handovers and daily operations run as planned.Full‐time position8‐days on / 6‐days off (80‐hour fortnight)Starting rate for this role is $37 per hourAbout YouCurrent Intermediate Boiler Operators Certificate or willingness to obtainExperience in grain receival, handling, processing and steam flaking milling preferredMechanically/process minded with the ability to be methodical and identify irregularitiesClear and concise communication skillsBasic computer skills and methodical record keeping skills requiredDemonstrated ability to work autonomously with limited supervision as part of a small teamMust have a good work ethic and be able to take and follow instructionWhy Join JBS?
