About the role

Programmed is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to join our food industry client on a casual, night shift basis at Torrensville, SA facility. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our warehouse and distribution operations during evening hours, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring efficient goods handling and inventory management. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and organise goods within our warehouse workplace, supporting the smooth flow of our logistics operations.

What you'll be doing
Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, lift, and stack goods throughout the warehouse
Loading and unloading trucks and containers with precision and care
Conducting pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition
Maintaining accurate records of goods handled and warehouse inventory movements
Following all health and safety procedures and warehouse protocols
Organising goods in designated warehouse areas to optimise storage space and accessibility
Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding warehouse activities
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

What we're looking for




Current forklift certification or license (High Risk Work License for forklift operation)
Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment
Robust understanding of health and safety regulations and warehouse best practices
Ability to work efficiently during night shift hours
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive lifting and movement tasks
Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous
