Royal Nut Company is a family-owned Australian business with more than 30 years of experience sourcing, manufacturing and supplying premium nuts, nut spreads, dried fruit, legumes, grains, health foods, confectionery, snacks and spices.About the roleWe are seeking a reliable and hands-on Casual Manufacturing Assistant to join our well-established and diverse Manufacturing Team at our Scoresby facility.Reporting to the Lead Manufacturing, you will assist with daily manufacturing activities, including roasting, packing quality products and preparing materials for storage and dispatch.You will help the team meet production targets while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Key responsibilitiesAssist with daily manufacturing activitiesOperate and support roasting and packing equipmentHelp achieve daily production and throughput targetsFollow food safety, quality and GMP proceduresComplete production records and basic data entryIdentify and report production or quality issuesMaintain clean, safe and effective work areasWork closely with Quality Assurance,



Warehouse and other teamsPrepare products and materials for storage and dispatchProvide general support to the Manufacturing Team as requiredAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in food productionFamiliarity with roasting, packing or similar manufacturing equipmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsGood attention to detail and a process-focused approachBasic data-entry and record-keeping skillsA reliable, hands‐on attitude and strong work ethicThe ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the roleFlexibility to work casual shifts based on manufacturing requirementsPrevious leadership or team coordination experience will be highly regardedQualificationsA Certificate in Food Processing is preferred but not essentialOther relevant qualifications will be highly regardedCompany OverviewWe love food...
