Credit Risk Assurance Manager | 12-Month FTC | Sydney

About the role Join our Global Credit Assurance team in Sydney and play a key role across Line 2 assurance of risks and frameworks, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

As a Manager in the team, you'll contribute to the delivery of credit assurance review programs, covering the financial risk frameworks that involve sample testing credit delegation holder approvals to identify, capture, and drive mitigation of key financial risks.

You'll identify and escalate vulnerabilities in the supporting risk architecture of policies, procedures, systems, and the control setting that may cause deviation from risk appetite. You'll also use credit risk data to identify trends, improving business risk management and providing insights and advice on best practice for the design, measurement, analysis, evaluation, and reporting of credit risk.

What you'll bring
Prior experience in a credit risk discipline; credit decisioning, audit,



assurance or risk advisory
Experience with a wholesale portfolio and exposure to institutional lending and trading products (derivatives, swaps, options, etc.)
Strong communication skills
Advanced negotiation skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at multiple levels
Ability to think laterally and navigate abstract concepts and complex situations
