We are currently seeking entry-level Laboratory Technicians to join a busy laboratory based in Orange.This is a hands-on role involving Ore sample preparation, manual handling and general housekeeping o within the laboratory environment.
Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door of the mining industry.About the RoleWorking as part of the laboratory team, your duties will include:Preparation and processing of ore samplesManual handling of samples and materialsGeneral housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environmentFollowing established procedures and safety requirementsWorking as part of a team to meet daily production requirementsOther general laboratory duties as requiredAbout YouWe are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who:Are comfortable working in a hands-on and physically active environmentHave a strong work ethic and reliable attendanceAre willing to learn and follow instructions and proceduresHave a strong commitment to workplace health and safetyCan work effectively as part of a teamHave previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment, which is desirable but not essentialRoster & Hours7 days on, 7 days off12-hour shiftsRotating day and night shiftsLaboratory based in OrangeEssential RequirementsMust be reliable and committed to the rosterMust be able to successfully pass a National Police Check & MedicalMust be physically capable of performing the manual requirements of the rolePrevious industrial or manufacturing experience is desirableThis is a excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the lab space with full training provided.Due to the large number of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
