About the roleAs Gaming Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the gaming room at your venue.Leading daily gaming operations and maintaining a strong floor presenceDriving gaming revenue, performance and agreed KPIsReviewing results and identifying opportunities to improve performanceSupporting gaming promotions and customer engagement initiativesEnsuring compliance with Queensland gaming legislation and responsible gambling requirementsMaintaining harm‐minimisation and self‐exclusion proceduresManaging operational audits, cash controls and reportingRecruiting, training, coaching and developing gaming team membersWorking closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership teamDelivering a welcoming and responsible experience for every guestAbout youPrevious experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team memberStrong commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIsSound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirementsProven ability to lead, coach and develop a teamStrong communication, organisation and customer-service skillsA hands‐on leadership styleFlexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekendsCurrent Queensland RSA and RSG certificatesCurrent RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain themA current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain itCustomer Liaison Officer experience is desirable but not essentialLocationsAustralian Venue Co. is looking for experienced Gaming Managers to join our teams across Southeast Queensland.
