About the role We're looking for an experienced and safety-focused Extruder Operator to join our production team in Dandenong.
In this hands‐on role, you will operate pet food extrusion and associated processing equipment, monitor critical production parameters and complete quality checks to ensure our products meet food safety, quality and production requirements.
You will also help identify equipment or process issues and contribute to continuous improvement across the production area.

shutdowns, product changeovers and cleaningMonitor raw material supply and support an efficient production flowAccurately complete production and quality documentationIdentify and report equipment faults, process deviations and quality concernsFollow food safety, GMP, HACCP and workplace safety requirementsMaintain high housekeeping standards within the production areaContribute ideas that reduce waste and improve operational efficiency What you'll bring High school certificate or equivalent qualificationPrevious experience operating extrusion, processing or manufacturing equipmentExperience in a fast‐paced manufacturing or production environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and problem‐solving skillsThe ability to monitor and adjust process settings to maintain product qualityGood attention to detail and accurate record‐keeping skillsA solid commitment to workplace safety, food safety and qualityClear verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
