Our clients enjoy gardening and spending time outdoors, and we are looking for passionate, proactive Disability Support Workers to provide active support in their day-to-day lives.We have casual opportunities available to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Lifestyles teams in Rockhampton.
In this role, you will support people with disability in shared housing or in their own homes, assisting with a range of supports including personal care, daily living activities, community access, and participation in outdoor and recreational activities.You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekends, sleepover shifts, short shifts,



and split shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow person-centred support and behaviour plansAssist clients to achieve their goals through meaningful activities and community participationSupport clients with daily living activities, personal care, and skill developmentMaintain accurate and timely documentation and record keepingBuild positive relationships with clients, families, advocates, and colleaguesPromote and advocate for client choice, independence, and controlSkills & ExperienceA passion for working with people with disabilityExperience and ability in supporting people with complex support needs and behaviours of concernStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAvailability to work a rotating 24/7 rosterA current First Aid and CPR CertificateSuccessful candidates will be required to undertake relevant pre-employment checks to ensure the safety of our clients.
