Manager Community & Stakeholder EngagementOrganisation/Entity: Transport For NSWJob category: ProjectsJob location: Newcastle, NSW, AU, ****Job reference number: ******Employment type: Fixed Term Full-TimeSalary range: $********-$********You see the big picture, you've always worked on a grand scale, and now you're ready to re-focus on grand impact.Here's your chance to design and deliver efficient, customer-focused services that also enhance accessibility, sustainability and overall quality of living for more people than you've imagined.In this role, you'll:Lead the design and delivery of strategic community and stakeholder engagement initiatives across NSWProvide high level advice to senior leaders on community sentiment, emerging issues and reputational riskDevelop transparent, evidence based engagement narratives that connect organisational priorities with local communitiesUse data, insights and analytics to strengthen engagement quality and inform decision makingManage issues and crisis communication in partnership with corporate communications teamsBuild and lead high performing, inclusive teams and support capability uplift across disciplinesWork closely with project teams, contractors and consultants to deliver high quality engagement outcomesEnsure governance, compliance and reporting frameworks support transparent and effective engagementTertiary qualifications in Communications, Media, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)Demonstrated experience in strategic stakeholder and community engagement,



ideally within complex public sector or infrastructure environmentsStrong leadership capability with a track record of managing multidisciplinary teamsProven ability to develop and implement engagement and communication strategies, including issues and risk managementWell developed influencing, negotiation and relationship building skillsSound political acumen and understanding of government processes and community expectationsExperience using insights and analytics to drive continuous improvementIAP2 Certificate in Engagement, or willingness to obtainCurrent Australian driver licence and willingness to travel and work outside standard hours when requiredThere are 2 temporary opportunities available:Passenger & Services 3 - TFT until 07/04/2027 (with possibility of extension)CSE Sydney North-West 2 - TFT until 30/6/2027Who we areTransport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
