Job Closure date: 30 days Job Summary: Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Nursing Support Worker to join our aged care team.
In this hands-on role, you'll provide essential clinical and personal care support to residents while working closely with nursing and therapy teams to ensure the highest standards of care.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Clinical & Care Support: • Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance while promoting independence • Measure and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output as directed • Support medication management by reminding residents and assisting with medication administration under nurse supervision • Assist with basic wound care, applying dressings, and reporting any changes to nursing staff Therapy & Rehabilitation Assistance: • Implement prescribed therapy plans including gentle exercises and mobility support • Assist occupational therapists and physiotherapists during treatment sessions • Support dementia care by implementing behaviour management strategies Documentation & Reporting: • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records of care provided • Document changes in resident conditions, behaviours, or care needs • Complete incident reports and risk assessments when required Resident Wellbeing & Engagement:
