Apply now Job no: ******Work type: Part timeLocation: Northern SuburbsCategories: Day Club AssistantThe PositionThe Day Club Assistant provides small group activities implementation and facilitation along with the provision of personal support and care to Club Clients.This position is offered on a part-time basis working 30 hours per fortnight North of the River at our Day Club in Kinross.We are looking for a Day Club Assistant that will be available from on the below roster.Week 1Monday: *********Friday: *********Week 2Monday: *********Friday: *********Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.Key responsibilitiesPerform all duties and interactions with management, staff, residents and their families, visiting health professionals and any other person in the work environmentSupport the maintenance or restoration of the client's independenceDrive a day club van to collect clients from their residence and back, outings in the communityAssists the client with maintaining personal hygiene including dental hygiene, laundering personal items, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence hygiene needsProvides appropriate support as documented in specific care plans in regard to medication, nutrition, mobility, social and behavioural and personal carePlans programs and collaborates with colleagues to present activitiesMaintains open and respectful communication in the workplace with all other staff and colleaguesAttends and actively participates in compulsory training sessions and meetings as required by CoordinatorEvidence of Current Flu vaccination per Amana Living policiesAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checksProven organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as a member of a team,
