Bourke Street Bakery is well known as one of Sydney's top artisan bakeries.
We are currently seeking a baker to join the team on a casual basis at our flagship store in Surry Hills.
Candidates must have experience working with yeasted doughs, cakes and tarts.
Hours are early mornings.
Duties include:
Proving and baking sweet and savoury pastries.
Setting temperatures and cooking times for different products
Assembling and finishing tarts
Working with our head baker at head office and communicating with him
monitoring proving process
Attributes:
Be able to work unsupervised
Be organised with production and have excellent time management skills
Have a genuine passion for artisan breads & patisserie
Work as part of a team
