Allegiance Heart & Home Care is seeking a reliable and experienced Domestic Assistance Support Worker to provide regular in-home support.

n

About the Shift

n

The successful worker will assist with maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable home setting. Duties may include:

n

n
Vacuuming and mopping floors
n
Cleaning bathrooms, shower and toilet areas
n
Cleaning the kitchen and wiping down surfaces
n
Dusting and general household cleaning
n
Laundry, including washing, hanging, folding and putting away clothes
n
Emptying bins
n
Cleaning commonly used areas of the home
n
Other reasonable domestic assistance tasks requested by the client
n
Identifying and reporting any household safety concerns
n
Completing a brief progress note following each shift
n

n

This is a domestic assistance service and does not currently involve personal care.

n

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is

n

n
Reliable, punctual and consistent
n
Respectful of the client's home, privacy and independence
n
Experienced in domestic assistance,



aged care or community support
n
Able to work independently and follow the client's preferences
n
Thorough and attentive when cleaning
n
Comfortable working around an older person with reduced mobility
n
Able to communicate any concerns or changes to the care team
n
Able to complete explicit and accurate progress notes
n

Requirements

n

n
Current National Police Check
n
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
Previous aged-care/community-care experience preferred
n
Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care is desirable but not essential for applicants with suitable domestic assistance experience
n
