Are you passionate about supporting neurodivergent children and young people in a way that honours their neurotype?
Neuro Flourish is seeking Neurodiversity-Affirming Tutors to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
This role is ideal for educators, tutors, pre-service teachers, allied health students, or experienced support professionals who are passionate about creating positive learning experiences that build confidence, engagement, participation, and wellbeing.
Neuro Flourish is a multidisciplinary allied health and education service supporting neurodivergent children, adolescents, families, and communities through neurodiversity-affirming clinical services, education, advocacy, and research.
We believe learning happens best when children feel safe, understood, respected, and connected.
Our tutoring supports focus on building skills, confidence, self-belief, and independence while supporting executive functioning, organisation, planning, and scaffolding.
We work with each child's unique strengths, interests, goals, and ways of learning to create meaningful and sustainable learning experiences.
The Position
As a Neurodiversity-Affirming Tutor, you will work alongside neurodivergent children and adolescents to provide individualised educational support that promotes meaningful participation, engagement, confidence, and learning success.
Supports may be delivered:
In our Mayfield (NSW) clinic
In family homes
In community settings
This role offers flexibility, variety,



and the opportunity to work collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
Deliverengaging, strengths-basedtutoring sessions
Adapt learning materialsto suit individual learning styles, interests, and support needs
Support literacy, numeracy, executive functioning, study skills, and curriculum participation
Collaboratewith families, educators, and members of our multidisciplinary team
Support studentsto buildconfidence, self-advocacy, independence, and self-understanding
Developpositive, trusting relationshipswith children and young people
Maintainaccurate session notes and communication records

Haveexperience working with children and young people
Demonstrate agenuine understandingof neurodiversity-affirming practice
Valuerelationship-based, strengths-focusedapproaches
Arecreative, flexible, and responsive to individual needs
Haveexcellent communication and collaboration skills
Canwork independentlywhile remaining connected to a supportive team
Arepassionate about making learning accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Applicants may have qualifications, training, or experience in:
Education




Special Education
Allied Health
Learning Support
Teaching degrees (completed or in progress)
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
National Police Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to complete mandatory training, including child protection, infection control, and anaphylaxis management
