Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in a heavy industrial environment?

We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a leading glass bottle manufacturing facility located in Gawler, just north of Adelaide. This permanent full‑time position offers excellent pay, a supportive maintenance team, and the chance to work within a large‑scale manufacturing operation.

About the Role

Working within the furnace end of the plant, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and equipment servicing on critical production machinery. This area of the site operates continuously with multiple glass melting furnaces and requires working in a physically demanding, high‑temperature setting.

You will be part of a skilled maintenance team consisting of approximately 10 fitters and supervisors, ensuring plant reliability and safe operation.

Monday to Friday roster
7:00am to 3:00pm or 7:00am to 4:00pm shifts - 9 day fortnight.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
Experience working in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, mining, or processing environment
Robust mechanical maintenance and fault‑finding skills
Experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems (highly regarded)
The ability to work safely in a hot and physically demanding environment
A proactive approach to maintenance and workplace safety
