WHSmith are looking for a Buyer's Assistant to support our Buying team in our Sydney Support Office.
What you'll be doing:
Managing item creation and maintenance.
Ensuring price accuracy in merchandise systems.
Accurately updating item details for promotional programs.
Creating and
maintaining
line sheets for distribution to the relevant team, with correct images and information.
Managing communication with buyers and suppliers
regarding
delivery timelines, changes in delivery
methods
etc.
Collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure cohesive operations.
What we're looking for:
Highly
organised
.
Intermediate MS Excel skills
.
Ability to
prioritise
with
good time
management skills.
Previous
exposure to a retail business is ideal.
Strong communication
skills and excellent time management
.
Robust analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
