About the Home
Bupa Banora Point is a delightful care home set in a suburb of Tweed Heads in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
You'll be close to the local community with shops, parks, schools and churches nearby.
It consists of 103 beds, with a variety of care units.
Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.
About the Role
To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry
Use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.
About you
Previouscatering / food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.
Duties
Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards
Complete required documentation and reporting
Respond to residents' queries and requests
Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen
Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks,



clear dining areas and dishwashing
Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collectionin the residents'rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
Skills and Experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential
Adaptable availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
You willhave an understanding ofwork health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.
