ThispositionwithintheLibraryServicesTeamislocatedatourSydneyRegistry,primarilybasedonsitewith someflexibility to work fromhome.
Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is APS5is:$88,834-$96,829p.a.
, plus a generousemployer superannuation contribution of15.4%.
About theopportunity
The Library Technician supports thedelivery of high-quality library and information services acrossthe Tribunal's national library.
Working under general direction,the role undertakes defined operational activities andlibraryprojects,maintainsphysicaland digitalcollections,contributesto library systems and process improvements, and helpsmembers and staff accessinformationeffectively.
Aboutyou
The Tribunal'sLibrary Servicesis undertaking a major transition of its physical anddigitalcollections.The successful applicant will help reorganise theSydneycollection,assistwithrelocating and rehousingmaterials from Brisbane, update the library management system,improve record quality, and ensure digital resources areappropriately stored and remainaccessible.
Thisrole hasphysicalrequirements,including moving and reshelving libraryresources.
To be successful youwillhave:




Experiencemaintainingphysicalanddigital collections, using library management systems, andundertaking collectionmaintenanceactivities.
Theabilitytocontributeto operational projects andserviceimprovements,includingidentifyingpracticalsystemandprocessenhancements
Ademonstrated capability using digital systems andtechnology platforms, including librarymanagementsystems,SharePointandMicrosoft 365applications
Theabilitytoexercisesound judgement, assessrisks, balance competing priorities, andapplylibraryexpertisetodetermineappropriatesolutionsandoutcomes.
Qualifications
Essential:
Diploma ordegree recognised for Associate or LibraryTechnicianmembershipofALIA
