St Andrew's Primary School invites applications from inspiring, collaborative and faith-filled leaders for the position of Deputy Principal, commencing January **** for a 3 year tenure. This full-time position will be undertaken in conjunction with an additional leadership role aligned with the strengths and expertise of the successful applicant and the needs of the school.
The successful applicant will be an engaging educational leader who demonstrates a deep commitment to Catholic Education and a passion for fostering a culture in which students, staff and families flourish. They will be remunerated in accordance with the Category B Deputy Principal Salary Level 2–1, reflecting the responsibilities and expectations of this leadership position.
Key Responsibilities include:
Leading the mission and Catholic identity of the school.
Developing the capacities of others, individually and in teams, to strive for excellence in instruction and engagement.
Driving strategic improvement initiatives aligned with the School Improvement Plan and Annual Action Plan.
Promoting high-quality learning and teaching, with a strong emphasis on explicit and direct instruction.
Supporting student wellbeing through evidence-based approaches, such as the Berry Street Education Model and Positive Behaviours for Learning.
Building strong partnerships with staff, students, families and the wider community.
Contributing to a positive, inclusive and team-oriented school culture.
Assisting in the effective management of human, financial and physical resources.
The successful applicant will:

Certified evidence of Victorian Institute of Teaching registration
Certified evidence of academic qualifications – inclusive of tertiary qualifications, academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master's degree or five-year equivalent) and accreditation to teach and lead Religious Education in a Catholic School.
