Our client is a largeGovernment agencywho are seeking anAssistant Director, Contract Management – Complex Project Deliveryto join their team inCanberra, ACT.
Role Summary
The contract manager will provide specialist contract management, procurement and governance support across complex project delivery activities.
The role will work closely with Program Directors, Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure effective, compliant and value-for-money procurement and contract management outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialist contract management and procurement support across multiple complex projects, including coordinating workflows, deliverables, milestones and contract lifecycle activities.
Review and maintain contract management documentation,



registers and governance records while monitoring compliance, risks, probity and legislative requirements.
Develop reporting, dashboards, tools and guidance materials while building contract management capability and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience incontract management, procurement and governancewithin government, public sector or another highly regulated workplace.
Proven experience coordinatingcontract lifecycle activities, compliance, risk management, quality assurance and governance, ideally across complex project delivery environments.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintaincontract registers, dashboards, reporting and performance information, with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
