Your current role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide advanced clinical and operational leadership across a busy and specialised Perioperative Services environment.
n
Lead and coordinate Perioperative Services to deliver best practice, person-centred care and strong patient outcomes.
n
Provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical practice, workforce, resources, service performance and financial management.
n
Drive quality improvement, innovation and evidence-based practice while maintaining high standards of clinical governance and safety.
n
Build a positive, capable and engaged workforce through mentoring, development, succession planning and transformational leadership.
n
About you
n
You are an experienced perioperative nursing leader with the clinical expertise, operational capability and leadership skills to inspire teams and deliver high-quality services.
n
Demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge, clinical skills and experience in Perioperative Services.
n
Bring proven experience leading teams, building a positive culture and motivating others to deliver evidence-informed care.
n
Have strong capability in human, material and financial resource management, including operational and budget management.
n
Be an effective communicator and problem solver with the ability to lead change, innovation and continuous improvement.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department.
n
We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.

We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need.
