We arecurrently seeking experienced Chef to providedaily support to our residents atBethanieFields.
n
This roleis offered on afull-time basis , 38 hours perweek.

TheRole
n
n
Managethe preparation and cooking of fresh, nutritious meals on site,ensuring a high-quality dining experience forresidents.
n
Orderfood supplies and manage stock, portion control and wastagewithin budget guidelines.
n
Assistwith menu development and delivery of the approved cycle menu,taking into account resident preferences andfeedback.
n
Lead,mentor and train kitchen staff in food
preparation,presentation
techniques and food safety practices.
n
Ensureall dietary, cultural and special meal requirements are met ina responsive and person-centred manner.
n
Deliver professionalfood service for residents, visitors and small
functions,providing
exceptional customer service.
n
Maintain compliancewith food safety legislation, the Food Safety Program and allrequired documentation and reporting requirements.

AboutYou
n
n
Certificate III inCommercial Cookery.
n
FoodSafety Supervisor Certificate.
n
Previous experience asa Chef or Cook preparing meals for large groups, ideally withinaged care, healthcare, hospitality or a
similarenvironment.
n
Demonstrated abilityto lead, supervise and support a small team.
n
Soundknowledgeof food safety legislation, including the Food Actand Food Standards Code.
n
Experience withordering, stock control, budgeting and minimising foodwastage.
n
Excellent timemanagement, organisational and
communicationskills.
n
Commitment toperson-centred care and delivering a positive dining experiencefor residents.
n
Current NDIS WorkerScreening Check and willingness to obtain
relevantvaccinations.
