Join ****SMILES Roma as a Casual Dental
Assistant/Receptionist
and become part of a friendly local team supporting patients across both clinical and reception areas.
n
This is a varied role where you'll have the opportunity to build your dental skills, work closely with the clinical team and get to know the patients who visit the practice. With a mix of general, preventative, children's and emergency dentistry, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of dental care while also developing your administration, reception and customer service skills.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing chairside assistance during general and emergency dental procedures
n
Preparing treatment rooms and instruments ahead of appointments
n
Sterilising and maintaining instruments and equipment to infection control standards
n
Welcoming patients, managing the appointment book and answering the phone
n
Maintaining accurate patient records and processing accounts
n
Supporting the clinical team with administration and day to day practice tasks
n
Keeping reception and clinical areas clean, tidy and running smoothly
n
n
Qualifications
n
To succeed in the role, you will bring:
n
n
Friendly, approachable and confident working with patients
n
Comfortable switching between clinical and reception duties
n
Reliable, organised and willing to help wherever needed
n




Calm and reassuring when supporting nervous patients
n
A clear and confident communicator
n
Previous dental assisting, dental reception or customer service experience is advantageous, but not essential
n
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is advantageous, but not essential
n
n
Additional Information

Full training provided- dental experience isn't essential
n
Varied work across both dental assisting and reception
n
Close-knit local team where you'll get to know your patients and colleagues
n
Broad clinical exposure across general, preventative, children's and emergency dentistry

On-site prosthetist and technician, giving you exposure to additional areas of dental care
