About the role

As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating commercial embroidery equipment and producing high-quality embroidered garments for our customers. This is a hands-on production role suited to someone who has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work.

Key responsibilities
Operate commercial embroidery machines, including Tajima machines.
Prepare garments, caps and other products for embroidery.
Hoop and position garments accurately according to job specifications.
Load embroidery designs and select the correct machine settings.
Check artwork, embroidery size, placement, colours and specifications before production.
Monitor machines during production and identify any issues.
Complete quality checks to ensure embroidery is clean, accurate and consistent.
Trim threads, remove backing and finish garments to a skilled standard.
Complete orders within required production deadlines.
Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.

About you
Previous experience in the embroidery, garment decoration,



workwear or promotional products industry is highly preferred.
Proven experience operating commercial embroidery machines.
Experience with Tajima or similar commercial embroidery machines is highly desirable.
Positive understanding of garment hooping, embroidery positioning, thread selection and machine setup.
Ability to read and follow embroidery designs and production specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to identify and resolve common embroidery production issues.
Experience working to production deadlines and handling multiple customer orders.
Positive organisational and time-management skills.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
