Avalon Home Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Domestic Assistance Support Worker, to provide quality house cleaning services to our clients in Ballina and surrounding areas. This is a casual role, providing flexible work opportunities to support elderly and disabled clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life within their own homes. Candidates must be fully committed and aligned with Avalon Home Care's service delivery commitments including, Consistency of Carer, Reliability, Communication, and Flexibility.Provide high-quality domestic assistance and cleaning services in clients’ homes.
Complete tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, laundry and changing bed linen.
Support clients to maintain a protected, clean and comfortable home.




Build positive, respectful relationships with clients and their families.
Follow secure work practices, including appropriate use of cleaning products, and equipment.
Maintain client privacy, confidentiality and respect for their home and belongings.
Identify and report hazards, maintenance concerns or changes in a client’s wellbeing.
Complete required client notes, and shift times via the services app.
Communicate professionally with the care team and operations team.
Deliver services reliably, punctually and with a friendly, caring and qualified approach.
