Must be a trade qualified Fitter Machinist or Mechanic

Real Hydraulic Experience - Cylinder Rebuilds, Pumps, Motors and Hose & Fittings

Must have experience leading and small team in demanding environment and prioritising to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills - verbal written and computer.
n
Must be extremely organised and have exceptional attention to detail.

The Role

As a Counter Sales and Workshop Supervisoryou will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to our customers.



You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication. The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers.

General Tasks
n

Support in daily operation of the Hose Service Centre
n
Conduct hose assembly, cylinder rebuilds, pump/motor procedures, and general hydraulic/fitting works
n
Assist to customers' needs at the counter and on the phone
n
n
You
n
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
n
n
Possession of a Trade Certificate as a Fitter Machinist or Mechanic is essential
n
A strong understanding of customer service
n
Good telephone manner
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Ability to carry out instructions
n
A knowledge of the
hydraulic/industrial
industry
n
Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices
n
Be computer literate and have valuable literacy and numeracy skills
n
Well presented and groomed
n
Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
n
Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and problem solve
n
Desire to be a team player
n
Live within a reasonable distance to the business
n
An understanding of WHS and Safe Work Practices
n
Maintain neat and tidy dress and appearance in line with Pirtek Dress Code Policy
