An established transport business based in Smeaton Grange, NSW is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified Diesel Mechanic with solid experience working on heavy road vehicles and a robust understanding of vehicle maintenance, repairs and fault-finding.

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities will include:

Servicing and maintaining heavy road vehicles
Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs
Preventative maintenance and inspections
Mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting
Component repairs and replacement
Keeping vehicles safe, reliable and operational
Working to required safety and maintenance standards
Working as part of an experienced team

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone with:
Solid Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic experience




Experience working on trucks or heavy road vehicles
Good mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Strong preventative maintenance knowledge
A practical, hands-on approach
Valuable safety awareness
Reliability and a strong work ethic
The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with heavy commercial vehicles, trucks or transport fleets will be highly regarded.
