TAMS-AC is the leading provider of a comprehensive range of culturally appropriate primary healthcare services to enhance the health and emotional well-being of the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community of Tamworth and surrounding districts. TAMS-AC is an Aboriginal community-controlled health service on the land of the Gomeroi people, based in Tamworth NSW. TAMS-AC has successfully delivered culturally appropriate primary healthcare services for First Nations People for close to 30 years. In addition to primary healthcare and day to day health services provided by a large multidisciplinary team, TAMS-AC coordinates access to a range of visiting specialist services and community programs.

Qualifications & Experience
n
n
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with other service providers.
n
A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and in a way that builds teamwork.
n
Ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander patients in a culturally appropriate way.
n
Maintain Confidentiality
n
Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
n
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
n
Current National Police Check.
n
Current NSW Driver's License.
n

Tasks & responsibilities - include but are not limited to;
n
n
Administrative and Reception duties including transport.
n
Answer telephone, take messages and distribute incoming correspondence.
n
Undertake faxing, printing, photocopying, binding and other administrative duties as required.
n
Timely follow-up on enquiries and communications with patients and other healthcare providers.
n
Provide support to the CEO, TAMS-AC Executive Team and other team members for events if required.
n
Maintain the highest professional standard when representing TAMS-AC.
n
Comply with all TAMS-AC Policies and Procedures.
n
