We are seeking an experienced CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) Tech Lead to join a high-performing team delivering large-scale identity solutions in a complex and security-focused environment.
n
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will lead the implementation of CIAM solutions, contribute directly to software development, and mentor engineers while driving technical excellence. You will work on enterprise-scale identity platforms supporting millions of users and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative identity solutions.
Key Responsibilitiesn
n
Lead the implementation and delivery of CIAM solutions.
n
Design and develop high-quality software using modern engineering practices.
n
Perform code reviews and maintain a high-quality, maintainable codebase.
n
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
n
Contribute to solution architecture and technical design decisions.
n
Support estimation, planning, and delivery activities.
n
Mentor and upskill team members, fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
n
Evaluate and leverage emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools.
n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate identity solutions across enterprise systems.
n




Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
n
Essential Experiencen
n
Advanced object-oriented programming skills with extensive experience in JavaScript and TypeScript.
n
Strong experience in unit and integration testing, including frameworks such as Jest.
n
Proven experience delivering complex CIAM solutions.
n
Robust understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
n
Experience customising and integrating leadingCIAM platforms such as:n

Auth0
n
Okta
n
ForgeRock
n
Ping Identity
n
n
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as:n
n
GitHub Copilot
n
Claude Code
n
Cursor
n
Similar productivity and code-quality tools
n
n
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineering team members.

Experience configuring and customising SaaS-based CIAM services.

Experience developing and integrating microservices in cloud environments such as:n
