investigators/auditors,
undertakes activities designed to maximise compliance with Victoria's revenue laws and ensure revenue is collected when it is due.

As entry level roles specifically related to payroll-tax, land tax and stamp duty
investigations/audits,
this is a outstanding opportunity for anyone considering beginning their career in the tax compliance field, or for individuals looking to return to this field. Extensive training is provided, including one-on-one mentoring.

Reporting to a Team Leader, you will:* Conduct assigned desktop
investigations/audits,
under guidance, using audit and investigative skills.* Quantify customers' tax liabilities and explaining to them the reasons for the decisions made as part of an
investigation/audit.*
Produce accurate reports on
investigation/audit
findings and negotiating appropriate outcomes with customers.* Be required to conduct field work on occasion****Who we are looking for**** To be successful in this role,



you will have:* The ability to interpret and apply legislation.* Effective communication skills to provide clear and concise advice to all stakeholders.* Professional customer service skills to consult with customers and identify needs and negotiate outcomes* Some theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in applying a range of
investigative/audit
