Are you an experienced Solar Electrician looking for the opportunity to work on large-scale commercial renewable energy projects while building your career into a leadership role?
n
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Solar & Battery Electrician to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work across commercial solar PV and battery energy storage projects, while playing a key role in establishing and growing our Queensland operations.
n
Working directly with senior leadership, you will help deliver high-quality solar and battery projects ranging from 100kW to 600kW, with a genuine pathway to progress into a Queensland Operations Lead position.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Install, test and commission commercial solar PV systems
n
Install and commission Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
n
Conduct maintenance, inspections, fault-finding and repair works
n
Lead site activities and supervise apprentices, contractors and installers
n
Complete testing, commissioning and compliance documentation
n
Maintain high standards of safety, quality assurance and workmanship
n
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers and stakeholders
n
n
About You
n
You are a qualified electrician with solid commercial solar experience and a hands-on approach. You enjoy taking ownership of projects,



mentoring others and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

Essential Requirements
n

Current Electrical Licence
n
SAA Solar Accreditation (battery accreditation highly regarded)
n
Working at Heights certification
n
White Card
n
Current driver's licence
n
Experience delivering commercial solar projects
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities
n
Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Commercial rooftop solar experience
n
Experience on projects between 100kW and 600kW
n
Commercial solar maintenance and rectification experience
n
Residential solar and battery installation experience
n
Testing, commissioning and QA experience
n
EWP and Forklift Licences
n
