Reporting to the Board, the Managing Director will hold full accountability for the performance, governance and long-term value of the Pentarch Group.

About the position
Reporting to the Board, the Managing Director will hold full accountability for the performance, governance and long-term value of the Pentarch Group.
You will lead Group strategy and performance across our Forestry, Agricultural, and Permaculture & Carbon divisions, supported by Shared Services.
As Chair of the Executive Leadership Team, you will drive alignment, accountability and sustainable growth across the Group.
Regular travel is required.
You will be responsible for:
Developing Group strategy for Board approval and leading its execution;
Delivering agreed financial, operational, safety and growth outcomes.

Leading the Executive Leadership Team and holding executives accountable for performance;
Driving sustainable growth, disciplined capital allocation and portfolio optimisation;
Overseeing financial performance, major investments, acquisitions and integration;
Ensuring effective governance, risk management, WHSE and regulatory compliance;
Driving operational and organisational effectiveness across the Group;
Building strong relationships with the Board, shareholders, government and key external stakeholders; and,
Strengthening organisational capability, culture and succession planning

About the position

About You
You are an accomplished executive with:
A minimum of 10 to 15 years' senior executive leadership experience, including substantial experience as a Managing Director, CEO, Divisional CEO or equivalent;
Proven success leading strategy,



growth and financial performance across a complex, multi-site or multi-division organisation;
Robust commercial and financial acumen, including experience with capital allocation, funding, cash flow and investment decision-making;
Demonstrated experience working directly with a Board;
The ability to lead, develop and hold a senior executive team accountable;
Experience in asset-intensive or industrial sectors and high-risk operational environments;
Significant experience managing large-scale, long-term commercial arrangements with State Government entities;
Experience in acquisitions, business integration and portfolio optimisation;
Strong governance, risk and WHSE leadership; and,
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline is essential.
A postgraduate qualification, such as an MBA, is preferred.
Membership of the Australian Institute of Company Directors is preferred.
