JOB TITLE: Kraken M2C Solution Architect
JOB LOCATION: Melbourne, VIC (Hybrid)
JOB DURATION: 12 months
We are seeking an experienced
Solution Architect with strong utilities and Meter-to-Cash expertise
, including hands-on experience with
Kraken implementations or conversions
, to support a major transformation program.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale utility transformation initiatives, designing scalable end-to-end solutions across smart metering, customer, billing and meter data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end Meter-to-Cash solution architectures across the utilities landscape.
Define integration strategies across CIS, MDM, CRM and billing platforms.
Lead architecture workshops and solution design sessions with clients and stakeholders.
Design scalable solutions capable of processing high-volume smart meter data.
Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs and technology roadmaps.
Provide architecture governance throughout project delivery.
Work closely with product, technology and business teams to ensure solution alignment.
Drive the adoption of AI and automation aligned with the product and transformation strategy.
Identify and manage technical risks,



dependencies and cross-system considerations.
Act as a trusted technical advisor to utility clients throughout major transformation programs.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong domain expertise across utilities, Meter-to-Cash, smart metering and Meter Data Management (MDM).
Proven experience with Kraken, particularly implementation, conversion or migration programs.
Robust understanding of utility platforms, systems, integrations and end-to-end business processes.
Experience working within Agile environments with iterative development, configuration and deployment cycles.
Strong systems-thinking capability, with the ability to navigate complex cross-system dependencies.
Hands-on delivery experience across large-scale, multi-year software migrations or transformation programs, particularly within utility distributors.
Strong understanding of global utility markets, smart metering networks and complex billing/regulatory environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead architecture discussions and influence senior stakeholders.
