Undertake market, competitor and industry analysis to support commercial recommendations
Translate large and complex data sets into meaningful insights for senior management
Prepare clear recommendations and investment papers for Executive and Board-level decision making
Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain and Commercial teams
Support strategic planning and major business improvement initiatives
Provide financial and commercial analysis on potential acquisitions or transactions where required
About You
You will be a highly analytical, commercially minded finance professional with particularly strong financial modelling capability.
You will ideally bring:
Advanced financial modelling skills and the ability to build complex models from the ground up
Robust commercial finance, corporate strategy, transaction advisory or similar experience
Demonstrated experience developing business cases, scenario models and investment assessments
Strong understanding of P&L;, cash flow, working capital, return on investment and key commercial value drivers
The ability to interrogate data, identify the key drivers and translate your analysis into practical recommendations
Solid Excel capability and confidence working with large and complex data sets
Experience within manufacturing, industrial, FMCG or another operationally complex environment will be highly regarded
Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work directly with senior executives
The ability to work autonomously, move quickly and deliver high-quality analysis in a project-driven environment
A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
