The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Ultra High Pressure (UHP) / Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. The Ultra High Pressure (UHP) / Vacuum Truck Operator is responsible for operating specialised mobile plant and equipment to undertake high-pressure cleaning, plant clean-up, hydro excavation, vacuum loading and industrial waste removal across mining and industrial sites. ResponsibilitiesYour
day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Operate vacuum trucks and associated vacuum equipment for hydro excavation, waste removal and industrial cleaning activities.
n
Operate UHP and high-pressure water cleaning equipment to clean plant, machinery and work areas.
n
Undertake tank cleaning, conveyor chute cleaning and conveyor clean-up using specialised vacuum and high-pressure equipment.
n
Provide vacuum truck and mobile plant support during mine site shutdowns and maintenance activities.
n
Remove, contain and transport controlled waste in accordance with site and environmental requirements.
n
Set up, operate and monitor vacuum, pumping and high-pressure equipment.
n
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance of vacuum trucks, pumps, hoses and associated equipment.
n
Perform general repairs and maintenance arising from day-to-day operation of equipment.
n
Identify and report equipment faults, damage and maintenance requirements.
n
Follow site safety procedures, SWMS, JSEA, environmental requirements and manufacturer's operating instructions.
n
Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean and serviceable condition.
n
Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance personnel and other site operators to complete work safely and efficiently. Essential RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have:
n
A minimum of one year's experience operating vacuum trucks or specialised mobile plant.
n
Experience with high-pressure cleaning, hydro excavation or industrial cleaning.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Appropriate driver's licence and relevant site or equipment qualifications as required, including White Card; MSMSS***** – Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting System – Operator
Licence/qualification
; RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces; RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights).Previous experience working on mine sites, industrial shutdowns, construction projects or within the resources sector will be highly regarded. Applicants must have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety and be capable of working safely and efficiently in demanding industrial environments.
